There is not enough I can say about these guys! The night before there was a serious ice storm so all the roads were iced over, businesses were closed everywhere, and I expectedFriendly Transmission to be closed too. I needed my transmission repaired ASAP... I lost 2/4/reverse gears (broken sun cage), and I struggled to get to the shop with just 2 gears. THEY WERE OPEN and O/H my transmission in less than a day so I was driving home at the end of the day, with a fully functioning and correctly repaired transmission. These folks are very fast, efficient, and really know transmissions. I highly recommend them for anyone who is suffering transmission problems. They are the best in the business! Thank youFriendly Transmission, for fixing my transmission so quickly and for being open even during icy and hazardous weather!

I own and operate an auto repair shop and we install transmission's rebuilt by friendly. I have to say that we can depend on them when we need them for quality rebuilt transmissions. Also when and if we have a warranty issue they always stand behind their work.

I lost overdrive in my Durango, also known as limp mode, like most when Transmission problems happen we tend to reach out to someone we trust, in my case I did just that and after spending $$$ with no fix I was sent to a Transmission shop they dealt with, still they could not fix the problem. Finally ended up at the Dealership, they said it was a bad computer, after replacing the computer the problem did not go away, I replaced about every sensor I could get to, subscribed to several sites, following their steps, ended back up in another shop that wanted to re-build the transmission, of course I read in the different blogs folks that fell for that and still had the same problem. After a year of messing with this I about gave up when someone told me about Dave's shop at Friendly Transmission in High Point, Dave agreed with me that it had to be an electrical problem and not a re-build...2 days later he had it fixed, turned out it was a shorted wire in the harness. I look back at all the money I threw at this problem, it sickens me, had I turned to Dave in the beginning I could have saved all that money, time I spent, and all the frustration that goes with it.
